Object history
While developing 'Olympia', the designer Win Anderson experimented with a wide variety of fibres and weave structures. She combined various fibres, such as goat hair, bleached linen, and mercerised cotton, along with double-cloth, plain, basket and other weave structures, in a single textile. This ensured that Olympia was an early example of the technical mastery associated with Larsen textiles.
