Object history
This puzzle was one of a series produced to advertise chocolate products.
It was sent off for by the donor, Anne Purse (nee Colborne, born 17/09/1943), who says it was quite a bonus to have free (or nearly so) toys. She played with it a lot.
Production
It is likely that the puzzle was actually made by an unidentified printer or publisher.
