Physical description | Child's side chair of stained and varnished bentwood. The chair has a curved cresting rail, an inverted u-shaped splat, circular seat and splayed legs. The solid seat is decorated with a stylized foliate design stamped into the wood, and the parts of the chair are mainly joined by use of metal screws and bolts. Apparently a child-sized version of Thonet chair no.18 |
