White satin wedding dress, jacket and skirt of white satin with long tight sleeves, front buttoning bodice, the sleeves tight to the elbow where they are puffed, then the forearms tightly smocked. Trained skirt, drawn back closely with puffed and draped bustle and back drapery, trimmed with frills and rosettes of the same fabric, lace trimmings. Accompanied by a matching belt, a large plain silk net veil with wide hem, a handkerchief of lace insertion in lawn, and white satin shoes, and a swansdown fan, the feathers sewn to a linen leaf and the sticks of pierced bone, the reverse painted with a spray of lilac and the initial "I"

Physical description
White satin wedding dress, jacket and skirt of white satin with long tight sleeves, front buttoning bodice, the sleeves tight to the elbow where they are puffed, then the forearms tightly smocked. Trained skirt, drawn back closely with puffed and draped bustle and back drapery, trimmed with frills and rosettes of the same fabric, lace trimmings.
