Plate of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded. Decorated with an exotic bird perched on a gilt spray, in a white panel with a scrolled gilt edge occupying the middle, and reserved on a ground of scale-pattern in relief, painted in pink, blue and gold to imitate peacock's feathers with which the rim is covered. The rim has a lobed edge moulded with a feather-pattern.
