Dish of soft-paste porcelain painted with enamels and gilded in imitation of Japanese Imari ware. Circular in shape with a scalloped rim. In the middle is a spray of chrysanthemums in blue, red, green and gold in a depressed scalloped compartment. The rim is divided into eight panels decorated alternatively with flowering plants and chrysanthemum badges set in the midst of diaper patterns. The underside of the rim is painted with tree-peony flowers and foliage on a continuous wavy stem.
