Object history | This service is described in the Museum's printed registers of 1869 as having been 'bought as an example of cheapness of manufacture'. The cheapness was relative. The decoration is hand-done and this dish cost £5.0.0. The service was included in the international exhibition, Paris, 1867, where Lobmeyr won a silver medal. |
