Object history | It is possible that this was a special order by Sir Claude Phillips. The colouring is red enamel powder. This is an unusually successful example of a technique with which Lalique had considerable problems. Lalique also tried colouring the scent bottle 'Pavot' (9501 nearby) in this way. |
