Object history | Gallé made a number of small boxes and bottles enamelled with hunting scenes in the style of 16th to 17th century decoration. Although designed in and around 1878 they were shown six years later in the 1884 display at the Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs, where Gallé's exhibition was a great success. |
