Object history | The bottle inscibed 'MELCK' mentioned in the label was once in the possession of Sir Cecil Smith. |
Production | Made in Central Europe, probably Bohemia. A similar bottle exists bearing the Dutch word 'MELCK', which implies it was made for export to the Netherlands or in the Netherlands by Bohemian emigrées. |
