Casserole , pressed, heat-resistent (borosilicate) Britain (Smethwick), about 1931-34 designed by Harold Stabler, for Chance Bros Gift of makers via the British Institute of Industrial Art (C.535 &A-1934) Chance Bros, introduced the 'Orlak' range in 1931. By 1934 the range had been bought out by James A Jobling who planned to produce it under the 'Pyrex' name although there is no evidence that they did so. .
