Pair of wine glasses , England (probably London), about 1859 possibly designed by Philip Webb and made by J. Powell and Sons Gift of May Morris (C.82 &A-1939) These glasses were given to the Museum by William Morris's daughter, and formed part of the Kelmscott Manor tableware. They are very similar in style to Philip Webb's designs, and were probably designed by him for sale in the William Morris shop. .(18/06/2009)
