Object history | Part of a toilet set. Shown in the exhibition 'British Art in Industry', Royal Academy, London, 1935. Keith Day Pearce Murray (1891-1981), a New Zealander trained as an architect. During the 1930s, when architectural commissions were scarce he made designs for Stevens & Williams glass (from 1932), Wedgwood ceramics (from 1932-3) and Mappin & Webb silver (from 1934). |
