Ovoid body with overhead horizontal handle, inset lid and circular stand with a central circular hole. All covered with a streaked rich brown glaze and decorated with applied cream-coloured sprigs and flower baskets partly stained pink, blue and green. Also applied, a cartouche with impressed lettering stained blue 'A PRESENT TO A FRIEND'.
