Place of origin |
On the left side of a canal, with three swimming ducks, is a group of farm buildings, near two empty rowing boats at the water’s edge. On the right, a couple, as well as another figure and a dog, are walking along a path on the opposite side of the canal, past a clump of tall trees. It is unclear what activity the two figures in the middle distance, perhaps standing on wooden planks spanning the canal, are engaged in.
