Bowl of soft-paste porcelain transfer-printed with underglaze blue, painted with red enamel and gilded. Circular in shape and transfer-printed and painted outside with three subjects: a man with a scythe and a woman with a rake in a landscape with a river, bridge, houses and trees; a man with a gun and a dog beside a river with a house and trees; and a man and woman with a dog in a landscape with a river, building, trees and gate. In blue, red and gold. Flowering sprays in red. Within the bowl are birds and flowering plants in red, blue and gold, and a border of alternate diaper and floral pattern.
