Part of a man's outfit represented the 1984-88 Matt Black Minimal look in the Street Style exhibition of 1994-5. It was worn by Tony Glenville. |
Historical context | During the 1980s black was the strongest, longest fashion colour, both within the business and on the high street. This extended to accessories and within the home. |
