Brief description | Teabowl and saucer of soft-paste porcelain, transfer-printed and painted in red and with enamels, previously thought to be Worcester porcelain factory, Worcester, 1760-1780 but now most likely belonging to the so-called Baddeley-Littler group of porcelain, made in Staffordshire c1777-1785. There is still much to be said about the exact details of the place of production and those involved in this factory. Most likely William Littler was the principal potter. |
