Cream or milk jug ('Chelsea ewer') of soft-paste porcelain, cylindrical, expanding slightly towards the top; scroll handle; wide spiral fluting and wavy edge; moulded in relief at the base, with acanthus leaves painted in blue. On one side is painted a panel of star and trellis diaper surrounded by foliate scrolls; on the other, leafy sprays.
