Object history | The mark on the stand is possibly that of Mist, a London dealer of 82 Fleet Street, who is stated to have been the London agent for Turner, and was perhaps a partner in the Staffordshire firm of Abbott and Mist, the former of whom is said to have been a partner of John Turner. |
