This bronze Medallion depicts the busts of Philibert, Duke of Savoy and his duchess Margaret of Austria.
Jean Marende was a goldsmith of Bourg-en-Bresse who in 1502 executed a large medal cast in gold of Philibert and Margaret, which was presented to the Princes by the town at their visit there. There are also other specimen in bronze, like this one.
