Jug of soft-paste porcelain, globular body moulded and painted in underglaze blue with large leaves, each terminating in a pair of scrolls at the top. The neck which is conical, is moulded with vertical fluting and a border of grapes and vine leaves below the rim, and is surrounded by a painted design of catkins. The mouth is moulded in the form of a bearded mask picked out in blue. There is a diaper border of semi-rosettes inside the rim. Loop handle with two supports and a floral device.
