Jug of earthenware transfer-printed with red enamel over the glaze, pear-shaped with a reeded loop handle, projecting spout and moulded foot. Printed on each side with the arms of the Anti-Gallican Society which consists of an oval shield with St George on horseback piercing the flag of France, the crest Britannia, and supporters a lion and two-headed eagle. On a scroll below is the motto 'FOR OUR COUNTRY'.

Jug of earthenware transfer-printed with red enamel over the glaze, pear-shaped with a reeded loop handle, projecting spout and moulded foot. Printed on each side with the arms of the Anti-Gallican Society which consists of an oval shield with St George on horseback piercing the flag of France, the crest Britannia, and supporters a lion and two-headed eagle. On a scroll below is the motto 'FOR OUR COUNTRY'.
