Production | For a similar pair attributed to George Ravenscroft see Mallett and Sheppard & Cooper (1990) no. 8, where thy are said to be of lead-glass. Our vase was tested by X-ray fluoroscopy in 1993 and no trace of lead was found. (Sotheby's, London, 25 May 1993, nr. 14) |
