Object history
Western Blot is the name given to the test which identifies HIV antibodies in the blood. Robert D Farber took part in a trial for an AIDS vaccination called Vaxsyn and was photographed being vaccinated for the brochure. His condition for allowing the drug company to use the photograph was that he received a copy and permission to use the image in his own work.
