Carpet sample of machine-woven Axminster in 80% wool 20% nylon with a dark red ground filled with a stylised palmette in dark orange, dark blue, green and dark red. This extends into flowers, mainly in dark orange. There is a dark red diamond within a green diamond within a red diamond; half outlined in white and half outlined in dark orange. All four sides have been oversewn. There is a hole in one corner for display purposes.
