Furnishing fabric of Jacquard-woven cotton and rayon. With a geometrical design of interlocking L-shapes and rectangles in blue, white, pale grey and dark peach.

  • Length: 252cm (Note: the length of this is made up from two parts, seamed at 78cms down from top of fabric. At the top of the fabric there is a cotton sleeve to hang the object from a rod. )

Historical significance: This and CIRC.170-1938, CIRC.471-1939, CIRC.523-1954 and CIRC.470-1939 are from the range of 'Constructivist Textiles' designed by Barbara Hepworth and Ben Nicholson for Edinburgh Weavers in Autumn 1937.
