This image of Juliet was taken a few days before her ninth birthday in July 1955. It was taken in a studio on Holloway, North London. Juliet is wearing her favourite necklace of yellow and transparent glass beads, along with a leather strap watch, both of which were presents from her great aunt, Lena. Juliet is also wearing a silver charm bracelet, a Christmas present from the year before with a single charm attached. Girls would often receive a new charm as a birthday or a Christmas present to add to the bracelet.
