Necklace

ca.1950 (made)
Artist/Maker
Place of origin

This necklace was a favourite accessory worn by the donor, Juliet, when she was about nine years old in 1955. The necklace is one of two given to her by her great aunt, but this one was more often worn, it being a particular favourite. It has been made specifically for a child as it is too small to fit around a adult neck but is similar in style to women's costume jewellery of the 1950s.
