Place of origin

This flask has a round body and a long neck. The auspicious motifs painted in underglaze cobalt blue on the body, each surrounded by floral scrolls in the form of bats, are peaches with the characters "萬事如意"(mansayeoui), orchids with the characters "芝蘭弁秀"(jiranbyeonsu), and a deer and pine tree with the characters "福祿全"(bongnokssangjeon). The glaze has a bluish-white tint, while the underside of the foot is engraved with "Jeongyu keundyeon," indicating that the flask was used in Daejeon in the year of "Jeongyu" (1787).
