Object history note

Given by Mr Emslie John Horniman.
Made for use with the filling 'Almond Blossom and Wallflower' (E.641-1952).
This frieze was exhibited at the International Exhibition, Paris, 1878, together with the filling, where it was awarded a gold medal.
