Irene Finch note, 2009: Finch 88/96 FE.46-2006
Ovoid jar and lid in b&w, 19th or 20th C. Design of plants and geese. Background with
very fine blown stippling of late type, possibly copying the English method invented in the 19th C. For details see Finch, Tenkei, 200, section 1,2. A round white moon is left by using a mask. A goose extends across it, painted later.
