The ewer has a globular body and a short spout, with a small loop on the handle. It is decorated with three leafy sprays painted in brown slip and covered with a crackled celadon glaze. There is serious glaze deterioration on the body, handle and spout. The lid, probably with a small loop on top but now missing, undecorated.
