Rectangular certificate of landscape proportions with a blue and white border of arabesque curves with the L.S.S.A.'s initials one at each corner, printed in shades of blue and green on ivory-coloured card, and inscribed in ink. It shows a scene of two children in pale blue swimsuits, one sitting on a wall and the other diving from it to join the child sea nymphs swimming in the waves below: within the wall is a rectangular cartouche containing the wording (with the exception of the name of the awarding association, which is at the top). The badge of the L.S.S.A. is printed in green on the true left side.
