Geometric decoration in blue, yellow and ochre. Three stilt marks on the front (9 cms point to point).
Body colour: Reddish buff with red streaks.
Glaze: Dull white. Slightly greenish lead-glaze with some areas of tin-glaze particularly near the rim, probably over a pale slip, covers the entire back. The foot-rim ha been wiped almost entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B without groove at rim. Foot pierced with one hole before firing. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
