Dish of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. A Chinese figure dancing (?) before a rock (or shrine?), with a bush behind it, within geometric borders in blue, red and green. The front edge of the rim has three peg-marks.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: White, much crazed, probably with a kwaart.
Shape: Shape E, but with a well which continues at the same angle up to the rim without a flange. Bosses below the rim made with a straight implement pressed into the clay. Foot-rim pierced before firing with two holes close together. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
