Dish of tin-glazed earthenware painted with blue enamel. In the centre is a Chinese figure seated in a landscape. Surrounded by a border of geometric motifs in blue with manganese purple outlines. Dark buff body; Pale turquoise glaze with fine crazing front and back. Press-moulded shape with flat underside without foot. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997).
