A Chinese figure standing in front of a fence in a landscape with a border of floral and oriental classic scroll motifs, in blue, red, green and yellow. On the lower edge of the border is the inscription S D/1733. The back has alternating Q and // motifs on the well in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: White with a few pin-holes in the back.
Shape: Shape D with steeper flange. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
