Vase of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Two seated Chinese figures and a divided bush-like form alternate with fences and foliage in blue and manganese-purple.
Body colour: Buff. Glaze: Shiny bluish white. Underside unglazed.
Shape: Three nozzles alternating with twisted spurs. Concave on underside which has a deep spiral groove caused by turning. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
