Plate. A Chinese figure, a pavilion, trees and fences in yellow, blue and manganese-purple within a border of bianco-sopra-bianco leaves and 'pine-cones'. The back has three almond branches on the flange in blue.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Bluish white and slightly crazed.
Shape: Shape L with press-moulded fluted border and scalloped rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)

Plate of tin-glazed earthenware painted with enamels with Chinese figure anda pavilion, probably Redcliff Back pottery, ca. 1760-1765.
Physical description
Plate. A Chinese figure, a pavilion, trees and fences in yellow, blue and manganese-purple within a border of bianco-sopra-bianco leaves and 'pine-cones'. The back has three almond branches on the flange in blue.
