Punch bowl of buff coloured tin-glazed earthenware painted with enamels. The interior has a floral spray and oriental classic scroll motifs. The exterior is painted with eight compartments one of which is inscribed 'PARLIMENT BOWL FREE WITHOUT EXCISE 1736'. The rest have two alternating patterns of flower sprays, one of which is a simplified form of the one in the interior. All the decoration is in blue.
