Mug of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Geometric stars or flowers below a border of stiff leaves around the mouth in blue and manganese-purple. Strong greenish white interior.
Body colour: Buff. Glaze: Strong greenish white.
Shape: Handle flat on inside, rounded on outside with a rolled terminal. Underside glazed except for wide ring at outer edge, concave without foot-rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
