Bowl of tin-glazed earthenware, transfer-printed in black enamel. The interior has a portrait of the King of Prussia below a wreath with a crown and the monogram PR. Within a rococo cartouche is the inscription 'King of Prussia / Elector of Brandenburg' and 'Sadler Liverpl Enl.' On either side are trophies of arms and flags inscribed Collin, Prague, Riesberg, Lewesberg, Rosbach, Neumark, Breslaw, Zoinegoff (?). The exterior has a battle scene, a spray of flowers, the siege of a city and a portait of General Wolfe. Within a rococo cartouche is the inscription 'Major General Wolfe'. On either side are trophies of arms and flags inscribed Lewisbourg and Quebec. Below the trophies are the words J. Sadler and Liverpool. All the decoration is in black transfer-printing. The rim is in brownish red.
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Greyish white.

Physical description
Bowl of tin-glazed earthenware, transfer-printed in black enamel. The interior has a portrait of the King of Prussia below a wreath with a crown and the monogram PR.
