A tulip, two flowers and flat leaves grow from a low mound, painted in blue, green, yellow and red. The border has bi-coloured leaves alternating with schematic fruit and leaf motifs. Blue dashes and two blue lines at the rim. Three stilt marks on the front (9 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Shiny white on the front. A thick greenish tin-glaze, which has crawled in the firing, covers the entire back. The foot-rim has been wiped entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B with deeper well, wider foot-rim and without a groove at the rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
