Jug of whitish-grey fritware, painted in colours and covered with a clear glaze. Bulbous body, wide nearly cylindrical neck, loop handle. Decoration consists of palmettes and compartments of pomegranate form enclosing small sprays of fruit interspersed with triple discs and quatrefoils, all in dark olive-green outline, greenish-grey and red, and on a blue ground. Narrow band of formal ornament encircles the lower part of the neck. Round the mouth is a border of spirals.
