Hemispherical bowl of buff-coloured fritware, painted in colours and covered with a clear glaze. The greater part of the surface, both inside and outside, is covered with fine spiral stems studded with small flowers in olive-green, and with arabesque devices in dark blue and turquoise-blue at the points at which the stems branch off from one another. An undecorated band encircles a central medallion, which is bordered with blue cresting, and the lower part of the outside. The nethermost position, above the line at which a high foot is missing, is painted with a narrow border of wavy stems and flowers edged with cresting in blue.
