Three tulips growing from a mound in green, blue, ochre and manganese-purple. Three stilt marks on the front (9 cms point to point).
Body colour: Reddish buff with strong red streaks.
Glaze: White. A shiny lead-glaze with strong greenish areas and traces of ochre over a pale slip covers the entire back. Dribbles of tin-glaze over the rim. Two stilt marks on the foot-rim (8 cms point to point).
Shape: Shape B. Foot pierced with one hole before firing. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
