A tulip, two flowers and flat leaves growing from a flat bed, painted in blue, green, yellow and red. The border has bi-coloured leaves alternating with schematic fruit and leaf motifs. Blue circles with dots alternating with groups of strokes and with a blue line at the rim. Three stilt marks on the front (9/9.5 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Shiny white. Outer half of foot-rim wiped clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B with slightly deeper well, wider foot-rim and without a groove at the rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
