Dish of tin-glazed earthenware, painted. Queen Anne seated between trees wearing a crown and holding orb and sceptre, painted in blue, ochre and strong copper green. Scrubby plants in the foreground. The foliage of the trees is sponged. Blue and yellow lines over blue dashes on the rim. Three stilt marks on the front (about 9.5 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff. Glaze: White. A shiny lead-glaze, strongly green in one area and containing much tin with small blue spots covers the back. Prominent remains of three stilt marks on foot-rim (8.5/9 cms point to point).
Shape: Shape B with flat base to foot and without a groove on upper rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
