The Temptation of Adam and Eve painted in blue, yellow, green and red. Blue dashes and lines at the rim. A partial circle of glaze removed at the centre by the foot of the dish fired with it. Three stilt marks on the front (8/8.5 cms point to point).
Body colour: Buff.
Glaze: Dull white on the front. A thin pinkish tin-glaze covers virtually the entire back with areas of whiter tin-glaze slopped over from the front around the rim. The foot-rim has been wiped entirely clean of glaze.
Shape: Shape B with wider foot-rim and without a groove at the rim. (Alphabetic shape codes as used in appendix to Archer. Delftware. 1997)
